Cell Phone Screens Nastier Than Toilet Seats?

When was the last time you cleaned your cell phone screen? You don't have to answer out loud or text back, totally rhetorical, but serious as a heart attack. Did you know that roughly 39% of people never cleaned their cell phone at all. Why is that a big deal? Well let me tell you. You go to a bar or restaurant and sit your phone down on a surface that has come in contact with hundreds of people.

You may go into the subway, let's take New York's for example. When the train flies by, billions of dust, dirt and germ particles are flying all over the place. When you leave a NYC train station, the first thing you feel like doing is taking a shower and you think the phone isn't dirty?

You go to park benches, gas stations, store counters, hotel desks, bank teller windows, public bathrooms, etc... where all of these may get an occasional wiped down, but the amount of bacteria built up is incredible and guess what? You put that dirty phone right up to your face. Some people breakout in bumps, rashes, hives and have no idea where it's coming from. This could possibly be the reason in these cases. Then parents let their kids play with the phones and transfer germs to the little ones. Yeah, it's probably not life threatening, but I bet people catch more colds and ailments from their cell phone screens than they will ever know.

A phone screen has 3 times as much germs as a house hold toilet seat. It would be pure insanity to compare cell phones to public toilet seat. I have seen some exorcist level aftermaths in some public bathroom stalls. Eeeeeeewwwww!!!! Uncleaned phones carry mould, bacteria and yeast.

An unclean phone can carry an amazing amount of all three.

Phones are apart of our everyday life now and who wants to have the stinky friend walking around with them. In short, just take some alcohol wipes, some sort of cleaning solution or even some vodka and wipe off your screen. The skin you save may be your own.
