This is exactly why I rarely eat out!!! You never know if the cooks, managers, servers, what have you is ever washing their hands. You never know if your food is being tampered with. In this case, allegedly spit on. I have heard of burgers being dropped on the ground, picked up, cooked and served to guest. It's a terrible terrible thing to tamper with someone's food who have put every confidence in an establishment to serve them the best product available. Vegan is sounding better and better everyday!!! If you simply must eat out, for what ever purpose, I advise you visit a restaurant with an open kitchen. People are less likely to act up in such a non-private environment.
